Barrys Book Now Shipping!

The way i see pricing.

It's better to look at this book like a college textbook rather than some ny times bestseller you can pick up at B&N for 29.99.

And as far as textbook pricing goes these days 100 including shipping is a fair deal.
 
90 bucks?! WHOA that is by far the most expensive book I've ever seen! I'm sorry for being straight, but that thing costs way too many pesos.
 
You guys are such cheapskates. I have noticed that people who are buying this book are the people who make money, and want to take and earn an emmy like Barry has already got. I have over $65,000.00 invested in my company and only $3,500.00 left in debt, in under 9months. If I did not invest I could not have had the clients I have had. I also want to be better, I dont know everything about this Camera, and I want to learn so I can not only offer the best services, but get the clients with real money. I just landed a $20,000.00 contract, and if it were not for the HVX and toys, I would not have gotten it. Takes money to make money, and in some cases it takes plastic to make payments on your plastic :)

I know Barry, not personally but from this forum, ALTHOUGH I would like a DENVER BOOTCAMP. Even if I have to pay him to come out and teach just me :)

Anyways, After all the hours he put into writting, and proofing, and researching, and testing, lawyers, and uncle sam, and list goes on.. I am sure he will barley make 20bucks off each book.. This is cheap compared to the info that you are going to get. And that info is going to let you speak to people and know what they might want and what you can offer.

Shame on you, Panny Europe! Why don't we have so much customer care as US buyers? Even after paying thousand dollars more than US customers for our cameras... I can't buy this book because my credit card is not accepted by PayPal system -(

Well, I bought my HVX in February from EVS (an authorized dealer) so I suppose I'll take advantage of the "free" book rebate thing. :)

Panasonic Europe is a very different animal as they tend to be very segmented due to the nature of their constiuency. Frankly I thought the Europe Bag was a cool offer and thought that I had wished I had thought of that.

It'a about time! I couldn't wait to buy this book, I guess i'll be getting a free one too... Oh well, i guess i'll have a backup, in case i lose one.
 
90 bucks is cheap to make sure my clients first exposure to our new toy is "WOW".
I've read countless mistakes people have made that has cost an entire project, not to mention thier reputation.
The benefits I'll get from better understanding this incredible camera's features due to Barry's book will be well worth it.
I'll bet the number of stupid questions on this forum, (which I'm guilty of) will go down! ;)

20 hour plane flight turned into 33... delays in Charlotte made me miss my L.A. connection, so I had to take a later flight which didn't go straight to Auckland so I had to go to Melbourne first and then fly back to Auckland...

So... yeah. 33 hours of traveling. I'll be sorting out the orders just as soon as I can, I just now got on the web.

Yeah i knew but since there was no book I didn't know what was going to be happening.
But what next. How do I get it now. Do I have to order it and don't pay? I like that. I would be nice if I could do that with B&H :)

Oh i know why... cos there is like next to no real low budget film industry in the UK hrmph

Anyway I'm gonna order it as soon as my er pocket money comes this wk o(or wages as its known) looking forward to it Barry!

Barry is not home, he just arrived in NZ. He will not be back for I believe 2 weeks. But he can chime in for himself when he wakes up. ;-) Doesn't sound like a great travel schedule to me.
