Cinegear: Redrock Pictures?

[OliverM]

Anybody have pictures/info on the Redrock goodies? How does the mattebox look? What's it built like?

I'm going there in about an hour (it's just a few miles from my home), and I'm taking my DSLR. I'll try to pick up some pictures for you.

Sweet! I can't wait to get my hands on that mattebox!

I went to the Red Rock Micro booth, but the only matte boxes on display were ones by Chrosziel. At least the last two pictures with Karl Soule of Serious Magic (they shared the booth) in the background feature a HVX200.

Bonus photo: I ran into this freakishly tall guy named Jarred over in the Panasonic booth:

Thats a pretty sweet superman ring jarreds got.

I was under the impression that Redrock makes one - I've seen it show up in their forums before. The base and turning knobs also look like other products in their line. Curiously, I can't find it anywhere in their catalogue, however.

This isn't exactly the same, but it looks like it will do.

Hi guys

The microMatteBox did not make it to Cinegear this year - almost out of prototype, but not in time

We did show our lens support. It will be far less expensive than the vfgadgets one. We will also be releasing a whip and speed crank for the microFF. Roughly about 1/3 the price of chrosziel. Lots of stuff planned for late summer.

Cheers

Brian
