music video for LUPE FIASCO

nice man nice , what u edit on what program, and i see just black and white so no CC needed like those black and white videos , also did u use any lighting at all ? what was ur set up , how u find lupe and get to do the video man ?

Thanx i appreciate the comment. this was a quick run and gun shoot i just made sure the sun was at my back we edit in premere pro 1.5 i converted the footage to black and white in after effects

I'm about to make a video that has the great potential to be pushed to a mainstream outlet. How do you submit your video to say MTV, BET? What do you have to watch for techinically and what kind of tape, medium... beta, miniDV in this case... Let me know. I would appreaciate it.
 
That's what's up!!!! Nice job!!!! So, did you shoot from car window as car was moving? What kind of problems did you run into for the sync. Also, was the out of focus on purpose?
 
Nice job on the video... So Kick Push was done with the dvx 100 also.. I've seen that video and had no idea it was shot with the dvx 100.. Good stuff bro!!

I can answer your question. As far as i know, you personally will have no chance having your video played on MTV by just submitting it. Usually that comes from labels who have pull or work with video promotion companies. Every video on networks needs to be closed captioned and on beta which runs up to $500. Closed Captioning is mandatory. Thats from my perspective...

Well I am not submitting the video myself. I expect the promoters or their label to do it, however, I wanted to double check if there are any specs, beside the video being on a digibeta tape and close captioned, that need to be taken care of before submission. Also if there any good and affordable place (site) that can do this?

Please excuse me for getting a bit off the topic. I simply to see if impakt could a bit of his knowledge. His videos kick butt.

Crazy. I just was hanging out with some friends the other night discussing hip-hop, who they like, who they've liked, who's coming around, and two or three people completely separate of eachother mentioned Lupe. Small world.
