This is a short montage of my spring break trip to New York with my buddy...
I used the Letus35 Flip Enhanced for all of the shots with a Canon 50mm 1:1.8 lens

No color correction or anything, just compression for web...
I really like my adapter, it's been nothing but a blessing (and a heavy thing attached to the end of my DVX)

so whaddya think?
 
That was damn nice looking. It looked soft in a good way.

That is Aphex Twins, isn't it. I can tell by the sound of their drum beats.

I could be wrong.
 
Good stuff. Even without the adapter it would have been a nice little piece. I would like to see it with the contrast boosted a bit.
 
Its Aphex Twin! Good choice. How was your light loss? Did you have to shoot everything wide open? Nice DOF.

I used the adapter the entire time while I was out there. I had just got it the week before and was really excited about playing with it. I just set the camera to auto iris for the outside shots. Inside with no natural light was usually wide open. I've tested my adapter for light loss and it loses about 2 stops, but it really really depends on the lens you are using.
 
I think it loses like 5 stops. in my experience. all indoor footage is hopeless without gain ,excessive sunlight flooding in- or movie lights.
 
Quyen puts out a decent product (Letus). I did see a bit of the "screen door' effect in one of the shots, though. Overall... pretty darn snazzy.
