Whoohoo! Herofest! Who's In?

Don't worry Norm...I'll send you a picture of whatever the grand prize is (since I'll be winning, taking the photo should be a cinch)

Jarred said to me at Bootcamp that he would "take care of whoever wins it, eh"

I put my finger to my head like a gun and said you mean "take care of?" while pretending to pull the trigger.

He said "no no, stupid Yank, I mean it will be worth their while, eh."

he then put his finger to his head as he said "whoever gets last place - that's who we'll 'take care of', eh."

I swear that's the conversation verbatim. I didn't make any of that up, eh.

Jarred did not meet any canadian stereo types.

He was wearing a hunting cap with earflaps and had beaver pelts all over his torso, and yes he did roll around Able Cine in a canoe with little runner wheels on it which was filed with empty bottles of Molsen while propelling himself with a hockey stick

...

so no, not stereotypical at all :)

Im as American as it comes baby.. as can be seen by me and Barry's latest hunting trip:

Dude way to bust out with a weight comment on somebody's birthday. Nice.

I'm out. But I'll definitely be checking out the work you guys did. Congrats on finsihing guys.

Well, obviously, I'm not participating in this competition. Too much to do (moving, changing girlfriends, changing screenames, etc.). Plus, my heart was never into the genre in the first place. Why does John Hudson have a "Horror-Fest" graphic in his sig? Has the next contest been announced or even hinted at yet?

Herofest was great because it was the first time I didnt announce prizes. It made me see who really loves making movies. Wish i could give you all a HVX just for entering.

Thanks snodart! I just found the other thread while you wrote that! Horror! Cool! I can maybe even shoehorn my never-shot, sci-fi idea into that. Or not. Halloween. What a great friggin' deadline. Easy to remember, too!
