Mysterium Test #2 Complete

Mr. Blonde

RED Advocate
For those of you who received the email update from RedCore you already know this but for the non-believers and un-knowing, Red sent out an email stating that they completed another test on the Mysterium sensor and are pleased with the results. Here is a snippet from the e-mail from Ted Schilowitz, Leader of the Rebellion. :kali:

We just got our second test run of the sensor back from the fab, and all indications are that it will perform as planned. The high level engineering is proceeding on schedule, and we are continually tweaking and re-working things for the better as we move through the process.

Our next public showing of RED will be at CineGear in Los Angeles in the end of June. We got a lot of good feedback on the RED-CAGE, and have made some changes there that I think you will like. You can see a new image posted on our homepage. You will also see how the RED-GUN has evolved at CineGear.

In addition we got some interesting comments about our Milled aluminum prototype (which was shiny polished aluminum) from some people that were concerned that we would be building a shiny silver camera, that is of course not the case, and we’ve change the images on our website to reflect that. At CineGear we will be showing our gen 2 metal prototype, with a Black Satin finish, similar to our PL mount Cine Lenses.

Yeah.. its great that they are keeping us pre-registered upto speed on whats going on behind the scenes. So many companies keep you in the dark till drop day.

I like being kept updated too, it makes you feel like you are part of the team. Even if every now and then the news is bad, I would still like to be able to trace the progress of the camera.

It would be really cool when they start manufacturing to see photos of the build process. We can watch our cameras coming down the assembly line (or at least the first one).

We're already getting a lot for our buck - personally, I want some of it to stay a surprise...
