Hmmm... looks good... but a bit noisy. Not sure if it was on purpose or not, but with these shots, I'd prefer a cleaner image. Composition and coloring looks great, though. I'm intrigued.

I absolutely love grabs 3, 5 and 6, but they're all good. I love the colors, especially the yellow phone. I honestly don't mind the extra noise in these. I think the extra noise really adds something special to the last two grabs. And besides, it's not like you're going to get great clarity in a dark room with an adapter on the end of the camera.

i think it looks like the grain got so noisy because he up the contrast so much.

only a thought, could be wrong.

I'd lose the black diffusion, it's a dead giveaway of magic bullet, and unless it's a dream sequence, I'd stay away from that effect.

Ya know... I was thinking about this the other day. What's the big deal if people can tell it's magic bullet? I know us "movie makers" kind of look down on it, but the rest of the world (the audience) won't know what it is, and they'll think it looks cool. Even I complain about it sometimes, stating that something looks heavily magic bulleted, but so what? if it looks good, I say use it. The audience will only see that it looks good.

I dunno... just my thought.

I think you answered your own question. Us 'movie makers' can see it. It doesn't really matter at all in the long run, but it's just become a personal pet peeve. :)
