Importing files from FCP into quicktime files

Alright,
Im trying to edit this movie that was shot on P2 as MXF files which were then turned into quicktime files and theyre not reading in FCP 5 on my G5 MAC.

This is a pretty big project and I have a deadline so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any advice?

Strange. Make certain you have the actual QT movies. Let's say you have copied the contents of the P2 to a folder and imported that folder into FCP. FCP will rewrap those mxf's into a QuickTime and put them in a Capture Scratch folder on your media disk. It is those files which you should transfer. Or, to be safe, let Media Manager make a copy of the project and all associated files.
