Yea, shot all in 60p then sped those peices up 400%. I was woried about it looking cheesy, but i think they sell cause they are so quick.

Cool trailer...Its good to finally see some more competition for the Wes Miller monopoly. If you guys are ever shooting in so cal, let me know, I'd like to come out and roll some 60p with some real freestyle riders. Keep up the good work.

High Shutter Love.

Fun stuff.

Is it me or does the camera footage look better when the shutter's cracked out?

Amazing footage and editing! Quick question: could you explain a little more in detail as to how to make the circular gradient you are speaking of to achieve the vignette effect? Do you make the gradient in FCP or in another program such as Motion?

I made the gradient in final cut. Effects>Video Generators>Render>Custom Gradient. You just set it to circular and make the center around 50% gray and the edges black. Then just lay it on the track above your clip and set the composite mode of the gradient to soft light (use overlay for a less subtle effect). Your can play around with making the gradient shorter, using brighter than 50% gray, changing the opacity of the gradient and using a different blend mode to get different effects. If you have any other questions, lemme know. Peace.

loved it!

say what you will but I LOVE THAT SLOW-MO!!!!

i'm not even close to getting tired of it...

re: Vignettes
A while ago I ran across these neat FREE FCP plug-ins written by Marcus Herrick which creates vignettes as well as a plug in for "face light" which is pretty cool too...I call it the "6-beer" filter because it makes about anyone's complexion look good. :-) (Others call it the Barbara Walter filter ).
Go to this site:
http://www.haiku.com.au/
and look for the LAPUG plug-in entry. There's a link that will download these. Follow the directions given for installing. Does just about anything for a vignette all within the filters tab of your piece.

Hey, thanks for sharing the plug-ins - pretty sweet plugins. And to Shoot24, thanks so much for the info about how to build a nice vignette in FCP. Again, awesome camera work and editing with the video.

Heck yeah yeah it is. Definitely gives you that hardcore feeling and the shooting was unreal. Great work!!

LOVE this footage, Shoot24p. Shots, editing, music - all amazing.

I bet your brother is gonna show this off to everyone he knows for ages!
