Screen grabs with my look

Hey guys. I was shooting my friends and I skateboarding at my house. Just for fun. I decided to post some screen grabs. I love the contrasty look of film. Just like Bay films such as The Island. It has nice contrasty look and Bad Boys II does also, but not as much as the Island. Let me know what you guys think.

I didn't use any adapters. I just used the consumer version of Vegas Moviestudio 4.0. I'm surprised with my DOF. I think it's incredible in these.
 
wow thanks guys! You really got me excited to keep going on with this look. Thanks John Hudson and rcbrown for noticing how it looks like the Island. I love that look and I always try to make my films look like this. I am really excited to start my film this summer. My auditions will be on May 28th and I will start shooting probably around June 13th.

Munson, the settings I used, I don't remember, but...I usually just put it on 24p and put the med lower and mess around with the chroma levels, but most of color correction was done in post (pretty much all of it). I also put it on fast shutter speed meaning, more strobe (is that right? or is it slow shutter? forget the terms between the two...hehe).

Well...keep them coming if more want to say anything...I mean you can't say much about them so don't bother if you don't want to. Lol! I will try to post more some other day with better stuff but as for now, I'm busy with my weddings videos.
