Bumped up in line ?

I was just wondering, since this is a fairly large purchase, what the policy is on cameras from those who decline to purchase ? Does that mean the people further in the cue get bumped up a spot ? So #80 becomes #79 - like that ?

I know you can't trade/sell your spot. However, it could make a difference (timeline-wise) depending on the manufacturing output.

Forgive me if I missed the answer elsewhere :beer:

Good question. Haven't thought about that yet. One thing is for sure, no one will be able to jump ahead of anyone else in line. Maybe we'll send that camera (if the serial number has been engraved) into the demo rotation and add a -D to the end. Just thinking out loud...

Sorry my friends...but I don't give up of my RED ONE 0000111 lucky number! :)

...but for sure I'll be happy if I will receive before than my predicted place.
 
I think the demo thing is a good idea.. That way everyone's number stays the same.

I have a feeling a few years down the road when someone asks us about RED we will still be saying our numbers..

Why not engrave the serial# only once you get the money and skip the serial# of the cancelled orders?

Then you could have a RIP serial# section on your website with people's names for public shaming.

The ti "R"'s should go out this week and we should be totally up to date. Sorry for any delay. We were a bit suprised by the demand. Good thing is that it is better to be suprised now instead of the day it ships.
 
I like this man: he asks sorries! The humbleness is a major quality and I'm with Mr. Blonde «in RED I trust», as well, in the RED delivery as it has been announcing.

Can we HOPE our first 100-200 units to next Christmas, Mr. RED? :)

i have been putting it in my pocket and showing it off to anyone who will listen like a 12 year old with a Wayne Gretzky rookie card.
