Steady-cam System Experiences - Best fit for HVX-200? FIRST STOP

Ive got an HVX and the 4000 PRO along with the Smooth Shooter...been practicing couple of days already with just 4000 PRO. It is heavy, and this is my first experience with the SS. But with Mikko's help and a webcam we got it to balance perfectly...and he told me PRACTICE...PRACTICE...PRACTICE. Even with the smooth shooter it still take a little getting used to. But im getting there. Weve got some footage of our initial attempts if anyone wants to see.

I'm flying the HVX on my Steadicam flyer currently and all I can say is that it fly's beautifully. I've got a chrosziel matte box attached and have everything balanced perfectly it just floats. With just a single IDX Endura counterbalancing the HVX+Mattebox+Rods+Plate, the gimbal rides pretty close to the top of the sled. This works out well because on a lighter system the gimbal is too low and when you want to boom up, the LCD can hit the arm.

I'm using two of the IDX type 120Ah batteries . . . put's it closer to the middle which is kinda where I like it. You're right though, the Flyer & HVX were made for each other!

I just did my first HVX shoot yesterday. We put it on a SC Flyer, and the operator loved it --- he says the DVX didn't have enough weight, but that the HVX felt really solid. The only accessories we had on it were a follow focus and two wireless receivers.
It also matched up really well with my DVX (no surprise there). Plus, the big boss loved the new look. So, everyone was happy.

Has anyone tried and cam recommend a stabilizer system for the following configuration:
HVX200 with M2 Redrockmicro adapter (Nikon Lens) & marshall monitor

No, the Flyer is better.
The arm alone on the Flyer makes it worth it - Flyer has 2 section rather than the one section arm of the SK/2, and it has much better performance too.

Also, the base is balanced for that CRT, you put a light LCD on there and it'll be hard to get into balance. (SK has a fixed base - Flyer's is adjustable)

Flyer is cheaper too :)
