New Trailer up for my feature sight

Interesting trailer. I look forward to more.

On the squeeze thing: All anyone has to do is command/control J (show movie properties), click on video track/visual settings

Go to the "scaled size" and type in 640 x 360 and uncheck preserve aspect ratio

Voila! Corrected.

t's all about how you present the project not even if the project is good that racks up the sales

word.

good job dude, and you are dead on about that coffee house/film school bit

HD, very good job... it looks really cool...
HOWEVER, I must agree with Justyn... the part at the end needs more attention... it has this "amateur feel" about it... I don't think its the acting, I just think that it is such a static shot, that it doesn't match the level of editing style of the other parts of the trailer...
I would take Justyn's suggestions... and edit a few flashes of the guy dying, right after he says, "I thought you were dead"...

AND, it doesn't look like video to me... however, the only thing that is bugging everyone (including me :-) is that somehow along the way of compressing, it got interlaced, AND IT SHOWS...

I have no freaking clue how it got that way with flash or dreamweaver... but look into it... maybe someone here might have a solution...

The rest was VERY effective... very stylized, very cool shots, I liked the sound...

OH yeah... ANOTHER thing... I did not like the way the "SIGHT" logo came up in the end... why didn't you use the logo on the website with the same effect? It looks way cooler...

Congratulations! it looks like a really scary film... What did you use for blood?
Ben Nye Stage blood? Syrup solution?

Thanks for your feedback, the interlaced problem comes from the down convert to sd. We're working on getting a better downconvert but right now we're talking with 7 distro agencys and making presskits and trying to meet the deliverables etc... As for the titles we had a huge problem trying to get decent titles and I finally gave up and did them myself, they're average but with no budget and a deadline our backs are against the wall time wise. The blood was my secret mix of red food coloring, karo, and soy sause for darkness (what a pain to clean).

The old TIME and MONEY problem... I hear you...
It sucks...
Good luck with distribution, festivals, and everything...
The blood looked really good... I never had any luck with my mix... I used your same ingredients, except that I didn't use soy sauce... I used instant coffee...
But it sucked... for closeups or for the face it looked really crappy...
The good thing is that I had invested like $40 bucks on some bottles of ben nye stage blood... It was a great investment... totally easy to clean, looks GREAT and EASY TO CLEAN...
I did use the recipe mix for splats and pools of blood...

Best of luck with everything! Looks Great!

Thanks, I pride myself on good looking fake blood, I used to work at a morgue and for awhile gore effects were my prime money maker. I'll look into the ben nye stage blood though, I can't keep scrubbing peoples freeking walls...
