Buttons, shiny silver and footage...

The camera won't be shiny silver... it will be painted magnesium alloy.

There will be buttons. Everything you have seen, from the logo, prototypes, booth, ads, website, brochures, titanium "R", cages, etc. has been done in the last 4 months. We have 8 more to go. Do you think we have time to find room for a few buttons?

The camera is bigger than it looks in pics. It is not too big, not too small... but just right!

The slice test sensor works. But we won't show ANY footage until it is dialed in 4k footage from the full size sensor. We don't want to confuse anyone. That should be sometime in the fall.

Jim, would love to see a photo of someone holding prototype to get a real sense of size.

Might be an odd question, or maybe not - I'm not a cinematographer: Will the Red One have the capability to be controlled via, say, a serial connection?

I bought camera #172. I can't wait for this thing to come out. Last year, I was just reading about the HVX, now this year I have to wait another 10 months before I get this camera. It is going to be another long year.
