Hello!

I updated my homepage and would like to share some clips with you!

"amber lady" and "the sun still shines" is filmed with my trusty DVX100.
The rest is filmed with PD-150/TRV-900.

Very nice.

Very nice.

I really dug "The Sun Still Shines". Beautifully shot and edited. The blooming highlights around her face in the darker scene - close up shots were some of the best I've seen with this camera.

How do you capture timecode during playback for syncing later in the edit?

That seems to be my biggest pain since the DVX can't be jammed with timecode from a slate (or anything). I usually shoot the slate and sync by hand later but would love to hear if there was another way.

You know what...

You know what...

I take that back...they're all fantastic! Honestly. You've shot some of the best looking stuff I've seen and it's edited so smartly. Clean and calculated.

Very very nice.

You've inspired me today.

thank you very very much for your kind words!

to inspire someone is some of the best critique one can get.

i used color finesse on "amber lady", lowered the reds and secondary corrected their faces. on "the sun still shines" i used magic bullet and carefully applied a mix of white and black diffusion and did a secondary pass with curves.

i almost forgot that "vitriol" also is shot on the DVX, even though it is my current project ;)

cheers eveyone!!
