indie snap mattebox detail and photos…..

ok awesome! Thanks, since i only use one filter and it has front threads i didn't really wanna have to rebuy that, now i just gotta see if i think i can use it with the rails i'm getting, if so i'll be getting one of these, thanks for the info :D

I received mine today and was foaming at the mouth to get it. I am currently shooting a lot of outdoor property video for a large resort developer and wanted a simple, COST EFFECTIVE. solution for using ND grads and a Polarizer with the sunshade.

I unpacked that puppy. mounted it on the DVX 100b, ran outside and used my filters quite easily. Before I was using the Cinetatics Matteblox and their pouch filter holders. That Matteblox is great as shade but the filter holders are a pain.

It's rare that I get this excited about a product but the thing is everything it advertises and its light as a feather.

BTW I noticed that the space in the filter holder is wide and if the sun angle is steep some light might fall on the lens. I suppose a bit of gaffers tape over the opening handles this nicely. Or a piece of velco strap

But maybe an idea for an accessory cover that fits over the top . I don't see this as any short coming and until I get that big studio contract and I can buy a Chrosziel this investment was well worth it.

Good job dakotapod

Keep those reviews coming...we're interested! I'm only inches from buying one now. Let me know how those of you have ordered and played with them more than a month think about this seemingly wonderful product. I love success stories!
