so kholi what happened to the phone call to let me know if you were going to participate in our project, after i sent my script to you and talk to you about it, you saying maybe?......... oh that figures your signature says it all. well maybe you'll do your own project.....maybeeeee........so now you know my script...but i'm sure you won't jepordise my short...being an upstanding young man that you are? thanks..... uh......dude................................................................seeya!

For the most part, I've been in doctor's offices and such. The eye thing kinda sucks.

But, regardless of my inflammed eyeball, I should've gotten back to you guys immediately. Sorry about that.

Edit here: By the way, I'm not sure how I could put your project in jeopardy, but I don't plan too... I promise. =DDDD

No reason to be. =P Burning bridges is not in my agenda. As I've said, and as I said on the phone-- My eye is bad.

But, I'll make sure to be a bit more prompt in responding from now on.

i definitely can't submit anything this time. sorry. i've got a lot of school film projects and stuff on my plate right now unfortunatley. i should be able to submit a project during the next fest.
 
I'm going to assume I'm in and start work now. My first DVX is due April 18th and if that pans out it'll be all good.
 
THanks Curugon. And you should all watch out, cause I won the first DVChallenge over at DVInfo. Totally beat out every single one of the other 3 competitors! ;)

I've watched a zombie fest one (shed) and a couple of the sci fi ones and I must say you guys do great work. My biggest problem in these things is, well of course story, then locations; I tend to have a hard time getting them. But I'm keen and with 2 months, should be a good amount of time, but not enough to dick around. Need to get stuck in.
 
Is it hard to get access to some of those beautiful New Zealand locations? How easy is it to guerilla-style there? (no Kong pun intended)
 
Guerilla style is pretty easy here, but of course if I wanted a specialised location like a church, pharmacy I'd have to try and find it. I think I'm a little over just going with what's around me, and I want to try and do something where I can have some freedom in story design, and then find locations to tell that story better. But of course, no matter what I'll do something :)

zombie fest was around 80

scifest was around 60

and there will be people that enter but don't announce it here and people that announce it here that don't enter

if there werer 150 - 200 I don't know what would happen, but I think everyone would be very pleased with up to 100 or so peeps -- the more there are the more exciting and electric it all is (and the more frustrating it is to actually try and see them all and give feedback for each :) )

If there was 150+ WOW , How Would I watch them all.

I managed with the Zombie 80 entries but for some reason , work I think . I had a more difficult time watching ,reviewing and Voting in the Sci- FI contest.

If there was a 100 or more , maybe more time would be given to watch ,review and Vote .
