Ok dirty minders, it's really "Rated G".
After you see it you will understand the title.

Shot in the ever changing weather of Nashville in
about 1 1/2 hours.

Info:
First time to seriously use the Letus35 Flip
Lens is a Canon 50mm 1.4
Shot 24pa, gamma +3 pedestal -3, cinelike everything.
Slight CC for contrast & saturation.

...If I could only remember to turn on the Vibrating Button
all the time! Dang!!!
Comments Welcome,
Adrian

Nice Job. The DOF is great.
If we forget the problem of dust when Vibrating is off.
Anyway do you think that the Letus35 Flip is dustproof enough? And is it easy to clean?

It's pretty dustproof if you are not on a dusty ball field, & you remember
to turn the vibrating button ON!

A bit soft as usual, but you executed it pretty good.
I don't think the compression is helping the soft issue. & the music is supposed
to be Disneyish...

That was pretty funny :)

Images looked pretty good. I was chuckling at the story so much, I forgot to pay more attention.

LOL, me too, Rather Good, I thought, and the credits were good too :)

hhaha, "Good eye! Good eye." This was really funny. I liked it a lot. :)

Most of the images look really good. Very clear and good colors. Some seemed a bit stressed as far as the DOF goes, but still good. (maybe they would've looked a littl less awkward if there were people in the dugouts. but that was the point)

good stuff.

Thanks for the replies, I'm glad you guys got the "concept".
I think next I will try a 28mm lens for more depth of field.
With my Canon 50mm, my Focal distance is about 20 feet until
it starts getting fuzzy! Then there's that darn vibrate button. I may
upgrade that apparatus to include an LED to indicate ON!

Oh, and the music was from a CD called "At the Movies". It's a royalty
free type CD I got from the Public Access Channel. Very Disney!

Really fun to watch! Kudos, well done!

Yeah, the distant shots seemed out of focus; but a neat short nevertheless.

can anyone share the principl behind the design??? It doesn't have the spinning disc the way PS Technics does... does it? Also what kind of lenses can you attach to it???

It doesn't rotate, it vibrates.

hi, you forgot to add the www. I tried to go to the site and it wouldn't connect. I added the www. in front of letus35.com and bada bing bada boom.

How does the Letus 35 compare to the M2.

I saw on the GO-35 post that they were going to do a shoot off for 35mm adapters.Where can I find the thread where the adapters compete? Does anyone know?
sorry to ask in this thread. didn't know where to ask. thanks

The Letus35 Flip has a focusing screen, not really GG.
It has a vibrating element attached to the focusing screen,
(about 20% smaller than a dime). It has a custom macro lens
on the end of the adapter, seems to be about 20X.
Now for the GOOD STUFF, all the mirrors that erect the image
in it's proper form. No flipping, No magnets, No left right tracking to
keep up with. You can get either Canon or Nikon adapter rings.

Cons: I'm seeing a big need for support rods, mainly for keeping the
adapter attached to the step down ring, especially when going hand
held & walking. Then there's that Vibrate button, it needs an LED.

Conclusion: I Love It! See the "GOOD STUFF" sentence...
All for now,
Adrian

I enjoyed it. My favorite shot was when Corey was silhouetted against the clouds. That's where I think it all came together visually.

Luckily enough, that was the exact same moment the music was building
to a big orchestra hit. Sometimes you get lucky!

Thanks,
Adrian
