Jarred - If you're coming to NYC, count me in. I think the whole DVXUser east coast community would be interested. I think it's a great idea.
 
Is this going to be a 1 day or a 2 day event in LA? I am from Madison WI, but am luckily going to be in San Diego that Sunday for something and would be very interested in attending it on the 8th in LA, depending on the price. Is this a bring your own camera thyp of thing? Have you figured out a price and what the class will cover yet?

We had 350 people two weeks go at the disappointing Apple/Panasonic roadshow.
 
Comeon April 2nd people! Put in yer votes. Everyone knows that learning is most effective on the first Sunday of the Month. And this has nothing to do with me needing the course for a nine day shoot that starts on the 8th, BTW.
 
Just a suggestion, but depending on where this is bieng held can someone see about organizing a group rate for hotel stay??? Maybe if the class is held inside one of the hotel board rooms we can get a really good rate for everyone? Just a thought.

We're talking just a couple weeks away... any way to start getting at least a little firm on the price? I'm game for either weekend, but would prefer the 8th since I'll be driving down. Sats are easier for those of us that need to drive and work the next day.

Including the HVX book would definitely be a nice bonus!!!

Anyway -- my 2 cents.
 
This is making me soooo envious.

You should do Chicago before N.Y. You have to come through here on the way east anyway.
 
Ok things are getting locked down, its looking like April 8th in Burbank (LA) and we are just adding the expenses up to see final cost, but we are looking at about $189.

Burbank? You're making this too easy on me! :) Give or take $100, this is going to be off the hook!
 
We decided to go with a lot lower price. Won't be giving away free books or batteries at that price, but Jarred's trying to work something out for our attendees!

I'm sure if the HVX book was ready for the seminar, folks would pay whatever you charged. (Well, within reason. :P)
 
yes, it should be quite an event. Registration will open Tuesday, and we are going to limit it to 30 people this class.
