Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I just left EVS to do a film gig. I am no longer working at EVS. I wanted to let everyone know that in the HVX200 section, since there are still lots of people on the HVX200 list. Todd at EVS has the list, and he will have the sales guys calling customers as their number comes up. So, all is well, your number in line is safe. My email address at EVS is no longer valid (rush at evsonline.com), and if you need to reach me please PM here on DVXuser.

On another note, I will have a lot more free time now :) so if anyone has technical questions, or need purchasing advice, I will be happy to answer them on the forum. Just Private message me here anytime, or post something with my name on it, I will check my inbox every night, and hang out on the forum often. I will always be a resource to all of you. I appreciate all that you have done for me, and I salute DVXuser, a great place for all filmmakers and videographers to hang out, learn, and teach. :love4:

And chance you will let us know what the film gig is? Sounds interesting :)

I can't talk about Fight Club right now :), but I will post about it in a few weeks.

Thanks Horse! I appreciate that sir.

Its a sad day in EVS world.. we all know that place will fall apart without you Rush.. you were the blood of that place.

Good luck with your film, your incredible talents will take you to the moon. Keep us updated.

Thank you sir! :) I am shooting for that moon.

I am sure EVS'll do fine. I will always be on DVXuser for anyone who needs me.

Good luck Rush. Thanks for all your help at EVS. Looking forward to hearing about your future projects.

Thanks, Rush. I just received your email and sent you an email only to get the auto-reply. All the best to you in your future endeavors and if you're staying local, I'm sure we'll bump into each other again. :)

p.s. The other guys at EVS were super cool to me also (just an FYI) so I plan on going back as long as they remain that way.

p.p.s. But I'm glad I got my HVX during the Rush era. :)

Rush - I'm sad to hear the news, but happy for you.
Best of luck! And thanks for everything you've helped all of us out with in the past.

Wow, that's ... well, disappointing for EVS, I'm sure. You were the reason I shopped there.

I can gurantee that most of us shopped at EVS because of Rush.

Everytime I would go over there or call I would ask for Rush. Usually if he wasn't there I would come back another time. I'm glad to hear that your doing something that has more of a future...or a potential one.
