H1 - Full Moon & Cloud Timelapse Test

I was driving home last night and noticed that the full moon and cloud formations looked awesome. I grabbed the H1 and shot some timelapse footage.

I thought you guys might like to see what I got. I think they look great.

How do you like your Chrosziel Follow Focus with the standard lens. The 20x is focus is so sensitve near the end of the lens. Can your mark and hit the same shots again and again with the standard 20x ?

I love the whole Chrosziel system. It's a little jerry-rigged with the 20x lens. But we've had pretty good luck with repeatable follow focus. I'm considering renting the 16x manual lens for our upcoming shoot. Pappas and Elton have had really good luck with it and the footage looks great.

However, what I really need is a wide-angle mechanicle HD lens for this bad boy! My pocket book is already hurting. LOL!

Good footage. A little on the noisy side, but very cool.

+6db gain with minimum lighting will just about do it I liked it though. Looked like 16mm film. Could be a good aesthetic if your going for that Michael Mann "Collateral" look.
