HVX-out of the box questions

I just got my camera... (finally!) ... and just a coupla quick questions....

when turned off and tilted back and forth... there's a small noise up by the lens.. like something is loose... but when you power it on... it seems to engage something and the noise goes away....

Is this supposed to happen?... is it something I need to be concerned about? Or just a new little something to tell the AC not to freak out about?

and.. when reading through the manual, it was worded as if an SD card was included... was this true for anyone.. cause there was definitely not one in mine.

No SD card is included, but any SD card will work. Don't waste money getting a large card; the smallest you can get will do fine.
 
man, i feel like we should be able to do clunks if they're about an HVX...

i mean COME ON people....this is a six thousand dollar camera and you don't want to read the manual...
 
read manual.. but as I wasn't really freakin out about it..... didn't read "before you call tech support..." I always figure on checking here first. - but anders.. thanks for pointing it out. and Barry, thanks for the info on the SD card.
