New York City DVX user meeting

It was nice to meet you all too. I had a really good time. Will see everyone who's going to the meeting on the 12th. Hopefully by then I will have my script done or at least at first draft.
 
It was cool meeting everyone that came last night. FlintMI thanks for being a good host, those FlintiNies hit the spot, DAMN those things were strong..

Yeah, that was a good time last night. Great raffle, Flint! It was good to meet some newer members and finaly meet the esteemed Mr. JDanStan and the lovely Ms. Meagan. Hope to see ya'll again soon!
 
You know what is the most retarded thing in the world.. Im in NY right now, and Jack just told me about the meeting today.. I coulda made it last night.

thanks everyone for coming out! quite a show of force of DVX users considering how cold it was. the music was a bit loud, but that's Motor City attitude for ya! those "Flintinis" (vanilla stoli/vernors) were pretty funky. hope they kept ya warm for a bit.

sorry I didn't get a ton of time to spend at the DVX table, sounds like you guys got aquainted and had a good time. we even have a 2nd place DVX Sci-fest winner (The Odd Squad) amongst us!

CapitalP I got your message last night but I was in the movies seeing Ultra_Violet (crappy movie). I see you are from Trenton, no wonder you were going to leave your camera in the car. DUDE... NEVER LEAVE YOUR CAMERA IN THE CAR!!! Especially in the city.

On Another note Aram, Jack, I'd really like to work on the "Hero" films with you guys, since I won't be entering, I would love to just be on set.. I don't care I'll do anything, I'll be grib boy or water boy what ever, I just want to watch and learn some camera angles etc...

But I guess we could discuss this more on the 12th.

I really wish I could be there this Sunday. I was really digging the tour of B&H.

Unfortunately that is the same time as my film rehearsal. :(

We will try to post signs to make it easy to find. Otherwise, a few of us will be there early and will have nametags on before the meeting. If we have to mill around (in the camera section obviously:)) just look for us.
