Zylight z90 in Direct Sunlight

Does anyone know if the Zylight Z90 can reduce minor shadows on a human subject's face from a distance of 3-4 feet away while shooting in direct sunlight? I currently own a Litepanels Micro and you must be ridiculously close to the subject for it to have any effect in direct sunlight.

Thanks...

Wow! The Z50 is powerful enough to combat direct sunlight? Since the Z90 is 4 times brighter than the z50, it must be capable of throwing light even greater distances in broad daylight.

Anybody with the Z90 care to comment?

as cool as the 2 z90s i have for easy setups . i shot some interviews under palm trees in hawaii and didn,t get the fill i thought would be enough. rated at 75watt max ,just didn,t get very far in the hawaii sun. still love them though.

I don't think any existing LED lights will do much in direct sunlight unless you are talking newsy talking heads with the light about a foot from the subject.

I usually key with a 4k in bright sun and fill with a 1200 watt. LEDs have very fast fall off and don't put out a lot of light to begin with.
