Zylight is3c

I've owned an IS3 for about 6 years. This is a unit that was WAY ahead of its time when it was introduced--the feature set has only recently been met by the Arri Skypanel. I'm not quite sure if the LED's have been upgraded much since it first came out, but the white light performance is not the strong suit here as it is not up to par with the better panels in terms of color rendition and purity. Where it really shines is as an RGB unit, with fine control of hue and saturation via the backpanel or the belt clip remote (and now an IOS app). I did various writeups on it on other sites but not this one--I'm sure if you search under my name and the product model they will turn up.

Great, thx. I will def do that. Have you also used their pro panel as well? There's a bunch panels that I don't find much info on and maybe that's because these are not lights marketed for the general user? Like cream source, and sumo etc.

Haven't used the pro panel. I have their older onboard light that does the same stuff as the IS3, the Z90. Zylight has been very low-key on their promotion over the years. They became the dealer for Aladdin this year, they've got some very interesting products too.
