Zooms with constant speed?

Are there any good Canon and Nikon SLR zooms that have constant speed all throughout the zoom range?

Anyone use one? Any links to footage shot with it I can see?

thanks,

Tons of them. Do you need the manual focus lens or newer autofocus one? What are you gonna use it for? Sure, video. But you need to tell more - especially why do you need constant aperture. For zooming within single shot?

I'm talking about manual focus lenses. You need a constant aperture so your footage doesn't darken during a zoom, and so you don't need to iris pull at the same time. It's not like you can adjust your lighting to compensate during a zoom shot.

I'm looking for any low cost alternatives to cine-zoom lenses which are super expensive.

Most of the Canon EF L series zooms are constant aperture, such as the 70-200mm f2.8, the 24-70 f2.8, the 24-105 f4. Nikon also has a similar range of zoom at constant f2.8 apertures. Of course "low cost" is a relative term. Those lenses are cheap compared to cine lenses but they're still $2k brand new. And of course unlike cinelenses the zoom mechanism isn't smooth.
