Zooming in on document

I am currently putting together a documentary film and would like to zoom in on some scanned documents to highlight words or sentences. I have seen this done many times, but am looking for some examples of this type of sequence to inspire me. Either that, or does anyone know of a tutorial on how to do this type of movement either on FCP or Vegas?
I tried to do a search for this type of effect, but have no idea what to call it.

thanks for any assistance.

You'll have better reults using After Effects. Start with a large image. Scale it down to begin with then scale it up to zoom in. This way it won't get soft on ya. You can duplicate that layer after you animate it and brighten it up then mask the area ya want. You can then fly that part seperatly if ya like. Add a liitle basic perspective (tilt and swivel) and some specular highlight to give it some oomph.

Movement or motion keyframes or something similar should be available on all NLE's. Keyframes is the word you need to search.
