Zooming in on an image.... zoom zoom!

Hi all,

my footage is 24pa / letterboxed.

I'd like to zoom in a bit on an image and crop it, however, the black bars are part of the image as well....

am I screwed?

Is there a way to crop within the picture image only, and leave the bars alone?

Just create new letterbox bars in photoshop and overlay them. Zoom away!

Or create the bars in the Titler window and overlay the cropped image.

Easy to match the original bars this way. Save title for re-use.
