A while ago i saw some use a transition that looked as if the camera zoomed into the subject really fast. Im not sure how to describe it any better ???
i cant remember if it was a vegas or premiere user that i saw use it. and i think it was a free plug in. if anyone has any idea what im talking about, could you point me in the direction to getting this transition for vegas or premiere because i cant find it.

-Thanks

Re: "Zoom" transition?.

Vegas and Premiere both include zoom transitions. Premiere has a "cross zoom" which is pretty cool, and Vegas includes lots more, including a great zoom/blur transition. It's right there in the transitions box, comes standard with Vegas.

Re: "Zoom" transition?.

i know of vegas and premiere's zoom trnasitions, but they dont include the one im looking for.
The zoom i speak of is kind of like an extremly fast zoom with the effect of a "tunnel vision".
hope that helps a little more.

Re: "Zoom" transition?.

It could very well have been a customized transition -- or a transition created through 2D effect keyframing.

Re: "Zoom" transition?.

I think what you're talking about is referred to as 'zoom blur'. I don't know of any premade transitions for this effect, but if your NLE has a zoom blur filter, you could do it without problem :)

INfo

Try the VIDEO FX "Radial Blur"
Select the Stong Proportional

Not sure what exactly you are trying to pull off but use either Proportional or Fixed Radius

Also consider combining effect with Light Rays (Intense)

If this is what you had in mind Im sure using Pan and Crop will give you many options with it.

This worked well when I tried it.
