zoom ring pin for hvx171E

Anybody knows where to find a ready made longer pin (actually a short stick) for the hvx171 focus ring?

This would help me a lot.

i guess it would do any inch or metric screw you can find with the right diameter, dont know if its imperial or metric size... you could let a friend turn it for you if anyone has a machine, work of maybe 15 minutes...
