Zoom noise

Hi, even if I have not signal from the mics I can hear some soft noise if I use the digital zoom (the noise of the zoom). The problem is this soft noise record in the tape. When I check the tape I can hear this zoom's soft noise and ¡¡ there's not ANY SIGNAL get into the camera !!. (I select one external mic in CH1 and CH2 -not the internal mic- but don't put any signal or switch off my Sennheiser K6&ME66)

ok, now you gonna has some guy say "I have never used the auto zoom because I do everthing in manual...blah, blah, blah"

Yes, the zoom is freaking loud. Sucks.

Thanks the solution is easy: don't use auto zoom. ;D
I'm noy usually use the zoom (mechanical or auto) but I couldn't believe this estrange noise from the auto zoom ???
