Zoom lenses?

Well i got my adapter today! Problem is, i only have one lens for it. Its my old nikon mount, Tamron 28mm to 70mm f/ 3.5 lens. Now i've found a 50mm 1.8 lens, but that kinda out of the question right now as i am well "flat broke" :D

What do you think? Will this little zoom lens hold me over until i get my 50mm? Or will it cause too much vignetting.

Also, my brother would like to use it on his Jag35 Pro. Will it give him any problems?

Thanks again guys

The answer is...you don't know till you try it. There's so many factors that goes into this that it's impossible to give you an answer. Some adapters allows for more FOV, some less, some lenses don't work as well on certain adapters or camera combination. It's really hard to look at just a lens and guess whether it'll work well or not.

The zoom lens will hold you over, I had a crappy Tamron zoom lens when I first got my Extreme. I wanna see your video of the day thing! That's all that matters, only what you shoot, use any lens that you can get. If you got a $100 to spare I am selling a 50mm 1.8 AF....

PS Congrats on your adapter! I know you have been waiting a while to get it. I hope you enjoy your new adapter! Did you end up getting the Brevis?

Infact i did! I'm very happy with it :)

Although for right now, i'm using my brothers Jag35 on my A1. He wants to see what it'll look like.

"Uh chase, it'll look the same" :D
