Zoom h4n usb connection broke

Blackout

I have a Zoom h4n which works perfectly but somehow the usb mini connection loosened and disconnected.

What are my options for this? I don't need it to transfer files as I have SD card readers way faster than transfer from the ZOOM but
the only downside is it can't be used as a asio audio device.

How much would this cost to fix? Is it worth it or just buy another one? Does anyone want to buy this one who doesn't need the usb connection?
It's been babied and taken care of but I put the cable in upside down once and it pushed the connector out. All other functions work perfectly.

It's not as easy as it sounds, to open up the H4n. At least mine is difficult. It seems to be glued at the top near the mics. Been asking around myself about the dis-assembly of these, because mine has a cold joint on the headphone jack. I can monitor as long as I tape the plug a certain way. Hate that.

i have a zoom h4n, and all my friends who've seen me use it have been sufficiently impressed.

But no, I can't help you with your problem. But what I CAN do is likely find a buyer if you're willing to sell it at a reduced price. Hit me with a PM and let me know what you're thinking if you decide to go that route, I'll ask around. I find it very hard to imagine any of my friends would care about the usb jack if you're selling it for pretty cheap

I have a dedicated audio interface a mackie onyx blackjack but the zoom was great for portable livestream events.. the damn blackjack won't send a mono signal from a mic plugged into the left input.... awesome preamp for a daw but shitty for a laptop live interview

I would sell my h4n for $175 as is... most people don't ever use the usb jack anyway.
