Does anyone know if the protocol used between the Zoom H4n and it's remote RC04 has been documented or reverse engeneered?
I'd like to make my remote shutter not only start both cameras in sync but also start the sound recording to save time in post.
Maybe make the remote wireless using an Arduino in the process, so I can at least see if it's recording and clipping when the recorder is far away from the camera.
