Zoom H4n and Final Cut Pro Workflow

I did some searching but couldn't find the answer (if its already out there please point me in the right direction). Anyway, here is my question.

What is the right/best way to get audio from the zoom into Final Cut Pro.

Currently, I am attaching the zoom to my MacBook Pro, setting it up as a USB drive. Then on the MacBook Pro I am going into that drive and seaching for my sound files and copying them to my laptop. Then I go into Final Cut Pro and import that audio.

Is there a one-step method - a sort of file log and transfer that will work?

Thanks.

That's the way I do it. I use a card reader instead though. Drag the files where you want them on the computer, then drag them into a bin in FCP.

If I need to rename the files, (scene X take X) I do it in the finder first, so the name on the disc and the name in fcp is the same.
