Zoom H4 lapel mics

I'm looking to get some kind of lapel mic for the zoom H4...are there any out there worth recommending? And do I need to get a pre-amp for it or will the zooms phantom power work?

Any lav that runs off of phantom would work. You don't need a mic pre-amp but you do need a mic with a power module that accepts phantom power. Looks kind of like large XLR connector, typically with a belt-clip, with XLR on one end and a jack for the mic's plug on the other. Good brands are Tram, Sanken, Countryman, Sony, Sennheiser, DPA and others. "Some kind of lapel mic" is a pretty broad generalization on which to gather recommendations - try to pin it down a little more precisely as to application and budget.
