Zoom H4 "crashes" with XLR input, help!!

I have been attempting to hook up a Sennheiser EW-100 wireless lav mic to my Zoom H4 field recorder. The lav seems to be working OK, getting levels, then the second I plug the XLR from the receiver into any of the inputs on the H4, the H4 crashes; it suddenly reboots, and then reboots again, and won't stop until I unplug the XLR.

I fiddled with it for a bit, made sure it was set to Input 1.... Plugged the XLR back in, seemed to be working ok, getting levels on the H4... then the second I try to start recording, same problem happens.

Sometimes when first plugging in the XLR it won't crash, but instead starts telling me the battery is too low (tried fresh batteries, no difference). Then it crashes when I press record. At one point it seemed to be acting up even with just a bare XLR cable hooked up to it, no input from the lav, but that varied.

I've used the H4 for a while and never ran into this problem before, anyone know what this is?

EDIT:

Fixed the problem, turned off Phantom Power on the H4 and it worked fine.
