B britney New member May 10, 2011 #1 I just purchased a Zoom H2. I put the record level to max (127?), put the microphone on "front" 90*, added the wind screen on, and recorded in WAV format about a foot away from my face. The recording levels are very low. Why is that?

N Networker Well-known member May 10, 2011 #2 Mic gain setting? L/M/H, should probably be in M, but if that is still too low try H. Mine works just fine, but I can't find my wind screen right now.
