zoom h1 and xlr shotgun issue?

Going to get a Zoom H1 to use with my GH2 and Sennheiser ME66 (with power module) but I'm unsure what adapter cable to get to go from the XLR shotgun to the H1. Will there be an impedance issue or a problem because the mic is balanced and the recorder input isn't? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the information. The blurb on B&H says that the input is mic/line on the H1--I thought maybe that meant I could set the input to "mic" and then not have to worry about impedance. I guess that's wrong (obviously I don't know as much about audio as I should).

I don't know about the H1, but generally, if you have a int. or ext. battery or battery module to power the mic, you can plug in with 'balanced to unbalanced cable' or adapter. Probably won't sound great due to the preamp, but it should work. beware, many of the low>high-Z adapters are for instrument level impedance, like guitar amps and such.

I do have a battery module for the shotgun. I thought the Zoom H1 did pretty well with external mics plugged into it. I was happy with the Zoom H4n's performance with my shotgun. Different models, I know, but the form factor of the H1 is just so much easier for one-man-band shoots.
