I'm using a Letus 35 adapter with my DVX 100b and I'm having a lot of trouble.
Basically I can't zoom in far enough with the DVX stock lens to avoid the vignetting from the Letus without going out of focus. Both the zoom and the focus controls are set to manual.
Right now I need to set my focus at 12mm to get the focusing screen crisp. Unfortunately the furthest I can zoom the lens at this setting is 75 (Please excuse the lack of specification. I don't know what exactly the 75 stands for). At 75 I'm still getting a little vignetting. When I zoom in further the focus is pushed upward gradually along with the zoom.
Can someone tell me why this is happening? Are the focus and the zoom settings dependent on each other for some reason? Is there any way to get around this problem with out getting a different adapter?
