Zombie Make Up FX

I will be starting a no budget Zombie short in the spring. And am going to be experimenting with make up and FX this winter. I was wondering if anyone was willing to share some tips. I would like to use latex fx for flesh FX and don't know anything about them where to buy or apply. I figured that since Zombie Fest recently passed by some users may and some information to share.
