"Zip Line" camera mounting question from a Newb

Hello,

I will try to explain in as much detail as I can about what I need help with:

I want to mount my HVX onto some type of 'pulley rig', which is then attached to a wire or 'zip line'.

My actor is going to be nailed to a cross (well not really obviously, lol, but I am shooting the remake of Ira Hunter's "The Passion of Zombie Jesus" in a Green Screen Production facility)

I want to attach the wire at the top of the cross, or in the grid, and push the camera on the 'pulley rig' up to the actors face and get my glory shot of Zombie Jesus raging, trying to pull himself off the cross as the camera is falling away.

So my question is, has anybody constructed a rig like this and if so, can you give any advice?
