I am considering getting a Zhiyun Crane.. I would use it for regular handheld gymbal applications but I was curious if it could also adapt to another task I want to accomplish.. If I hung it from a roof could it be used with the Bluetooth remote just like a regular pan/tilt head ? It would of course be inverted and hanging upside but would this work ok ? would it function the same as any other (budget) pan/tilt head out there ?
I was thinking the gymbal may actually be better than a normal pan/tilt for my application as there can be some vibrations from loud music in the room and maybe the gymbal would help smooth those vibrations ? If it functions the same it makes more sense for me to spend the money on a crane as it could be used for other handheld gymbal stuff as well...
Also my plan is to use it with a Panasonic G85.. Has anyone tried a Crane with this camera ? I have seen a lots of videos on youtube with a GH5 and a crane and the shots look great but the G85 is a little lighter I think and was wondering if this will still work ok.. I also wasn't sure if I should get the Crane V2 or look at getting the Crane 2 which seems suited to heavier models, would Crane 2 still work with G85 ?
Finally (this may be a long shot question).. Panasonic also make a lense which has electronic zoom control on it (PZ 45-175mm).. I noticed the Crane ZW-B02 remote has a small control W-T which I was wondering does this control zoom ? If so does anyone know if this would work with that Panasonic Lense ?
