Zeiss...?

hi friends..

i pretende to start my zeiss kit soon, will start with a 35mmF2.
i already have nikons 24mmF2.8 and 50mmF1.8 and pretend to change it for zeiss..

and my question is...really worth?

i would like to have a mount to use these zeiss with any camera i want...
is there a universal mount?

d90, mk2 , gh1, brevis35mm , red scarlet(soon)...
 
Best mount is the Nikon mount, as tthe Zeiss F mount lenses (ZF) offer you manual apature control, which you dont get on the canon mount version.

You can get Nikon-Canon adapters, and probably an adapter to adapt to whatever mount the Gh1 uses. Obviously the scarlet will have a nikon mount if it ever materialises.

Id go for Ziess ZF, very nice lenses. Ive used them on the SGblade with an EX1 and got very nice images.
 
I've compared the Nikon and ZF Zeiss lenses before but did not show much difference.
I was able to get a hold of some Canon lenses now so I was woundering how good it held against the Nikon & Zeiss so I might do a test soon...
