In part 2 of our comparison, Felix Patzke of Heimspiel and I, looked at the differences of famous Zeiss cineglass and pretty affordable Samyang (Rokinon/Walimex) cineprimes.
As in our first article, we where quite surprised, that the differences are not as huge as we thought.

Really good read, makes me feel better about owning the Samyang glass. Picking up the 85mm this month but try to decide if the cine version is worth the extra $180 (getting a good deal locally) but leaning towards the photo version because my nikon camera doesnt seem to want to give me an exposure reading with the cine version of the glass for some reason.

What may also be of interest to some of us is how these lenses (specially the Rokinon/Samyang) fare with larger sensors. On small sensors, corner sharpness or vignetting for example may not be an issue. But for use on larger sensors?

Rokinon really needs to round out this set with a nice 50mm.
