Zeiss Primes - overall information

Is that true? Are contax lenses better than the newer Zeiss ZF lenses? Or is that relative? :) I couldn't find any Contax lenses wider than 1.5 or 2.8.

I have a 50/1.4 + a 85/1.4 and 28/2.8 + 135/2.8. And a great Zoom/Makro 35-70/3.4. All lenses from edge to edge sharp, so much better then the Nikkor/Nikons.
I did'nt test the new and 'old' zeisses. But the old ones are great and a lot cheaper!

I bought my Zeiss F1.4 50mm from them and they were excellent to deal with.

Next year I'll buy a 35mm and an 85mm.

I love my Zeiss 50mm more than my Nikon which is a 50mm E series. I know there are better nikons out there but I opt for Zeiss in any lenses I buy now. It feels like a cinelens and is bigger glass.

Also a major advantage [I don't know if its limited to the E series Nikons] but my Zeiss focus ring doesn't travel. Meaning when I set up my indiFOCUSpro or any other FF, the gear stays in the same place I set it up.
