Probably *the* coolest movie I have ever seen in my entire life... absolutely brilliant! The cream of the crop of B movies...
There are some awesome camera angles with shots that are held for like 5 minutes straight carried by pure acting... i laughed so hard my stomach hurt halfway through the movie...
It's a japanese film about a man who dresses up as Zebraman, a character from a 1970s japanese action show. Turns out he is actually the real Zebraman and he has to save the world from invading aliens. Those japanese really know how to make a fun film...
The line of the movie: "If you believe, your dreams can come true"
I recommend everyone who can see this movie go see it. Everyone can love it. Don't expect a terribly meaningful movie and you'll love it. Basically they took all the cliches that bug people in movies and made an awesome film with it's own sense of humility and humour. Watch the movie and you'll realize the genious behind the making of it...
The best midnight madness of the TIFF for sure!
