Does anyone know if there's an alternative to the Zacuto MiniMount that costs a lot less than $175? I did find it for $166.25 at a few places online, but I still think it's grossly overpriced. A simple way of accomplishing the same thing (15mm rod clamp with 3/8" threaded hole pointed down directly in the center of the rods) would be okay as well. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

We have a thin mount, 28.99. But it only has clearance holes for 1/4 20. Might be an option.
