Zacuto EVF sunburn repair cost

I wasn't paying attention and my Zacuto EVF's LCD was damaged by the sun. It's not terrible and it's still usuable but I'm going to have to have it repaired at some point and was wondering what the cost might be.

Has anyone had their's repaired and what did it cost?

Thanks!

I'm surprised at he $75. thats good to know. i would have thought it to be more. with that said i didn't even know that the Zacuto EVF was susceptible to sun burnins! I've been lucky i guess because I've never specifically protected mine. i know the SmallHD stuff was and I've always been careful with those.

I really expected it to be at least twice that amount.
I only had it for a few days and wasn't using the cap or the little sunscreen thing and I was shooting outdoors in the sun. I powered it on looked through the eyepiece and I see these white blobs, I turned it off and back on and they were still there. A little googling showed me what happened.

Needless to say the sunscreen is installed along with the cap (and I make it a point to use it).

The EVF itself really isn't necessary w/the C100 MkII (but it is on the MkI IMO) because of the viewfinder upgrade. I found it for a great price ($150), it was missing the cables which wasn't a problem as I have plenty.

I bought Zacuto's C100 EVF bracket which was fine until I put the camera on a tripod, then I could no longer reach the EVF if I had the camera set above my eye line (becuase the clamp on the bracket doesn't move). So I mounted another clamp on the end of the bracket just above the viewfinder. While that did the trick every time I needed to move the EVF I would have to move the entire thing to other clamp (and that was a PITA). So I picked up a 3" z-rail and a Z-Rail Rod Lock and while that now does the trick it's added bulk to the bracket in addition to cost. So I emailed Zacuto and suggested that if they design another version to consider cutting a nato rail into the bracket itself so you could mount a Rod Lock and simply slide the EVF forward and back.
