Zacuto EVF issue. Using with 5D III firmware 1.2.3. Need advice

Hi there everyone,

I've recently bought a Zacuto EVF Flip from a member of this forum and I've been having an issue using it with my Canon 5D III.

I literally starting using the EVF straight out the box with my 5D and had the "No Input Signal" message come up. I'm shooting 1080 25p IPB using Canon firmware 1.2.3.

I messaged the seller and he doesn't have any advice to give me so if anyone could help me out I'd be really appreciative!

Update on this: I contacted Zacuto and they have been brilliant. They are shipping me out a new HDMI cable to test with the EVF. I'm hoping it'll do the job.
If anyone has any comments meanwhile please post a reply.
 
This issue has now been resolved. Zacuto mailed me a new Hdmi cable which worked perfectly. I'm really happy with Zacuto's customer service.
